An additional hurdle was overcome and celebrated with a good old topping out ceremony. The new company buildings of Kuntschar Energieerzeugung GmbH have rapidly taken shape since the first sod was cut on 1st March 2010. A new and secure employer location now stands where an unused meadow had marked the entrance to the Wolfhager district of Ippinghausen at the start of the year.
It was preceded by the unforeseen commitment of the responsible authorities without whose assistance such rapid implementation and realization of the new production halls would not have been possible. “The idea and the company orientation fits in well en route to becoming an energy efficient town”, according to Wolfhagen´s lord mayor Reinhard Schaake, "Hence my support and the support of my staff shall continue to be provided in full."
The administrative district office has also issued the same positive signals. District chief executive Uwe Schmidt had the following to say: “Not least the setting up of a privately financed research centre is a real boost of the economic location and promotes the rapid further development of new alternative forms of energy."
