The development of our wood-gas power plant system has been completed so far. Sales and distribution have started. Further experiences will be progressed in the course of operation, as it happens with all technologies newly arising on the market. The state of technology is attained, when a procedure proves itself during one year under commercial conditions, i.e. when it for example demonstrated the aptitude for 7.000 Bh (operating hours) convincingly.
Compared to the combined heat and power technologies based on combustion systems, higher electrical efficiency factors and higher CHP coefficients are reached in low ranges of capacity as well. The CHP coefficient is being calculated from the quotients of electrical and thermical capacity of the complete unit. CHP-units are significantly checked against these coefficients. Biomass gasification CHP-units offer relatively high electrical power output for the small range of capacity of approx. 150 kWel.
The construction of a wood gas power plant together with technical infrastructure implies very complex framework requirements.
